1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men experience domestic abuse at some time in their life (British Crime Survey 2002)

Over a 2 year period 2009-2010 we accommodated 104 women and 165 children at Allen House and Elizabeth Atwood House.

We currently have two campaigns running;

• New Beginnings furniture and equipment at the refuge
• New Beginnings children and young people’s services.
