Our fundraising promise...

Every pound raised from our New Beginnings campaign will be used to furnish and equip the new supported accommodation and provide specialist children’s services within the project.

Your money will NOT be used for administration costs or overheads.

By helping us you help them to become survivors.

Successful fundraising

A huge thank you to all of our supporters for the time, gifts and money that has been received over the years at the refuges. Here are some of the ways in which our sponsors have so kindly raised money.

Alice Trompholt has been a dedicated supporter of our services for years and sent £600.00 to us in May.

Wall Heath tombolaCHADD staff held a car boot sale raising £315.00 and also attended Wall Heath’s Christmas fayre raising another £284.03.

The Dudley Inner Wheel have tirelessly fundraised sending money and other gifts to our services. We received £340.00 in June and they kindly paid for our entertainment/face painting at the Christmas party of £185.00.

The Squirrel pub/restaurant in Alverly invited CHADD staff to florally decorate the venue last Christmas and has since set up a standing order with which we have received £250.00 from them.

Wall Heath tombolaParty light representatives Nicola Foster and Helen Slater have both held events and fundraised £245.65 between them for our children’s services.

Elaine Jones sent in money sponsoring a welcome pack, kitchen tools and 2 sets of linen for cots as Christmas gifts for her family. In addition to this Elaine has now set up a monthly standing order to support New Beginnings.

St Mary’s Church in Coseley, Blackheath Methodist Church, St Francis Church in Dudley and local schools around the borough donated food and gifts over the year.

Wall Heath tombolaDudley Zoo donated enough tickets for every service user in CHADD for the pantomime in Wolverhampton- Sleeping Beauty on the 9th December.

We literally jumped for joy after Jo Stanley a radiographer in Russells Hall Hospital skydived in August raising £350.00 for our children’s services.

The staff from Brockmoor Foundry Brierley Hill collectively raised money of £1,000 which was matched by their MD James Leppington making £2,000 with which they purchased toys and distributed them to us at CHADD and to Sandwell Women’s Aid.

The Halesowen Lodge 5635 sent in £160.00 for assisting with Christmas.

Jon Elkin MD from Qualifab Oldbury has regularly donated and sent in £500.00 and 2 large turkeys for Christmas lunch at the refuges.
