The Domestic Abuse teams are very excited about the forthcoming opening of our new refuge- New Beginnings. We should be able to receive the keys (all being well) at the start of April.

Our old shared accommodation will close once we have moved into New Beginnings. All of the accommodation offered to victims of domestic and sexual abuse will then be self contained.

By April we will be able to offer support for those client groups that may have not benefitted from being in shared accommodation such as male, gay, lesbian, transsexual and transgender victims fleeing from abuse.

Oh it’s a busy time for all of the Abuse team! Fundraising for the service is at a critical stage, if you can support us by making a donation that would be fantastic.
