We are a small team providing time limited support within the Dudley Borough to any vulnerable tenant/homeowner who, for whatever reason, may be at risk of becoming homeless.  Traditionally the majority of our service users have been women escaping violent controlling relationships.  We have also supported male victims having a specialist knowledge of Domestic Violence and abuse which of course is never a problem suffered in isolation but which always brings with it a wide range of other serious problems, such as debt, poor health, hate crime, loss of confidence or dependency on illegal substances. We strive to help tenants deal with their problems and achieve their positive aims.

We meet in a 1:1 basis in service user’s own home or at a comfortable public place e.g. a café and together with the service user draw up a plan of what support each individual needs and wants and how that support can be provided or accessed from other source. This service is free to the service user for up to 2 years duration, funded by Dudley MBC Supporting People Programme.
