“The Foyer to me is like a new beginning, a new chapter in my life. I have more independence and have learned more skills through the activities and training.”

“Since living on the foyer I have learned how to budget and done lots of courses such as fire training and get cooking. I have done activities such as holistic therapies and went to London from doing this I have gained loads of confidence and now feel I will be able to move on and live fully independently. At the moment I am doing performing arts at college.”

“I came to the foyer project on my own, not knowing anyone and feeling very alone. The first day I came into the foyer project the staff were very welcoming and explained all the activities that I can get involved with. I explained to them how I had no skills in the kitchen and needed to learn how to cook. The next week I got involved in the get cooking programme.”

“Before I came to the Foyer I was sofa surfing and I wasn’t in training or employment. The Foyer has helped me to find an engineering apprentice and somewhere stable to live. They are helping me to live more independently.”
